Day in and day out I saw these bright shining faces! I got to know them very well. But for those of you that didnt have the chance to get to know these amazing kids, I will tell you a little bit about them.

The 22 students in my 3rd grade classroom are the ages of 8 to 9-years-old. Even though the area in which the students come from to go to school is a diverse one, the students are mostly white and around the same cultural background. There are a few lower social economic status students that we work hard to give resources to. This can cause a range of abilities, yet the third grade teachers have decided to split the lower abilities and the higher abilities into two classrooms. This makes it easy for the students to get what they need without being distracted with the other students different work. I have the group that is more of the higher abilities. Some may say this is easier, but I will be the first to tell you that is just as hard. Although...just as rewarding!
